SALESIAN General Chapter 28 Re-Elects Father Ángel Fernández Artime as Rector Major

General Chapter 28 of the Society of St. Francis de Sales / Salesians of Don Bosco has re-elected Father Ángel Fernández Artime as Rector Major, for a second term for a period of 6 years, 2020-2026, in the very 1st round of voting.
    He was Youth Ministry Delegate, Rector at Ourense, Provincial Councillor, Vice-Provincial and Provincial of León from 2000-2006. He was also a member of the GC26 Technical Commission. Courtesy InfoANS & BISIndia
    Born on 21 August 1960 in Gozón-Luanco, Asturias-Spain, Father Artime, aged 59, made his 1st profession on 03 September 1978; his final profession on 17 June 1984 in Santiago deCompostela, and was ordained priest on 04 July 1987 in León, his mother province.
