The day began with the Eucharist, praying for the intentions and wellbeing of the benefactors and for their beloved ones. They were honored by way of giving a memento by the community and sharing a fellowship meal. The day also turned out to be a reminder for all, from the letter of St. Paul (2 Corinthians 9:7) - “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” The day was a sign of gratitude and reminder to them that they are indeed cheerful in sharing from the little they had. They were indeed happy to know about the activities of the community and fervent prayers were offered on their wellbeing.
