INM PC 2022 – Day 3 (24.02.22) : Eucharist Celebration by Most Rev. Dr. Chinnappa Malayappan, SDB, DD, Archbishop emeritus of Madras-Mylapore

On 24th February 2022, Rev. Dr. A.M. Chinnappa SDB, Archbishop Emeritus of Archdiocese Madras-Mylapore, presided over the holy mass on the third day of the Chapter. He emphasized the theme of Christ as the best model for Salesian accompaniment. His grace released the obituary letter of Fr. Vincent Durairaj SDB, a great visionary and a former Provincial of INM. Thanks to Fr. Stanley Ignatius and the St. Bede’s community for bringing out this obituary letter in a very fitting homage to Fr. Vincent Durairaj.
    Rev. Dr. A. M. Chinnappa SDB, Bishop Emeritus of Archdiocese Madras-Mylapore, presided over the holy mass.

    The morning session began with a prayer video song. Then the minutes of the previous day were read. The minutes was read and passed with a few corrections.
    Fr. K.M. Jose SDB, the INM Provincial, presented the State of the Province. It was printed as a booklet of 50 pages and given to the members as well. Fr. Edwin Vasanthan SDB, the Economer, presented the financial state of the Province.
    In the evening session, Fr. K.M. Jose, the Provincial responded to all the interventions made by the members with regard to the State of the Province and offered some clarifications in general as well.
    The Goodnight Talk was given by Fr. Y.F. Balasamy SDB, Rector of our Don Bosco Mission in Fujairah. He then invited all the Chapter members to pray a Hail Mary for peace between Russia and Ukraine.
