The first day of the meeting was presided over by Rev. Fr. Guillermo Basanes, SDB General Councillor for the Missions. The missionary formation programme in practice, the challenges involved and the way forward were dealt in detail with an aim of creating a missionary identity and profile for the two missionary aspirantates. Review of the Report on Missionary Aspirantates in South Asia.

On the second day Rev. Fr. Jose Kuttianimattathil, Regional Delegate for Formation animated the aspirantate staff on the topic ‘Salesain Vocation – A Call to Gifted life and Ministry’. The two days meeting came to its close with drafting of proposals for the future to strengthen the aspirantates at all levels.
