Pongal celebrated with fun and fervour

The night school students and teachers of DB Agro Tech, Polur brought in the fun and gaiety of Pongal to the campus on January 13, 2018 as they celebrated the harvest festival with great enthusiasm. Forty-four students of the night school along with three teachers were divided into four teams for a cooking competition.

    “The teams were asked to prepare as many dishes as possible and the one with the maximum number were declared winners. This was followed by speeches, dance and music to make the Pongal festival a truly colorful and vibrant celebration,” says Fr. Sebastian Francis, Rector. The event was also attended by Vice Rector Fr. John Shankar.
