The topic for today (January 27) is Transactional Analysis and the Resource Person is Dr. Sankar from VIT College.

The following topics would be covered:

a) Theory of TA

b) Techniques in TA

c) Practice of TA in clinical and non-clinical settings

Time: The pre-noon session begins at 9.15 am and ends at 1.00 pm and the afternoon session begins at 1.45 pm and ends at 5.00 pm. Besides the lunch break, there will be two refreshment breaks - one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The Topic for tomorrow (January 28) is Gestalt Therapy.

Participants: The participants are practitioners providing mental health interventions in various settings with a minimum of one year and a maximum of 17 years of working experience. All are qualified postgraduates either in Clinical Social Work or Psychology or Nursing and working across Tamil Nadu

Forty students, their parents and Remedial Teachers attended a one-day workshop on Personal Excellence for Students at Niraivagam on January 28, 2018. This was held primarily for students who needed an extra push to face the upcoming examinations.
After Fr. Paul Raj, Director, Niraivagam opened the workshop with his inaugural note, different sessions on Behavioral Change – Attitude towards Winning Edge by Ln. Amutha Mathiazhagan, Enriching Skills for Success by Dr. Arumugam, Behavioral Change by Ln. Amutha Mathiazhagan, Enriching Skills for Success by Dr. Arumugam were held.
Feedback and concluding remarks were given by Ln. Babu, Mrs. Anne Florence and Fr. Paul Raj.
