Father K.M Jose, the provincial of the province presided over the inaugural event and addressed the children on how to have their rights protected and the role of parents/ society in protecting the children from violence.

Cultural competition was conducted for different YAR centers on the theme Protect children from Violence. It was followed by Debate competition,where students from different YaR centers used this forum to confront their views on who plays a major role in child development is it Society or Parents. Father Francis Bosco presided over the Debate competition and honored the students for their active participation.

Prize distribution ceremony was presided over by the rectors of different YaR Communities and distributed the prizes for winners of Cultural and Drawing competition.
