Seminar on Don Bosco’s Educative System for ITI Instructors

Vellore, 21 August 2026: Don Bosco Kalvi Solai (DBKS) organised a seminar on Don Bosco’s Educative System for the ITI Instructors of the Vellore Region at St. Joseph’s Boys Home, Katpadi, Vellore.

The programme began with a welcome address by Fr. Arokia Doss SDB, Director of DBKS, who extended a special welcome to Fr. Stalin Dhanaraj SDB, Fr. Sagayaraj Kasi SDB and Bro. Maria Arokiaraj SDB.

The first session focused on the Life of Don Bosco and Youth Ministry in the Province, exploring its various dimensions. The session was engaging and enlightening, with meaningful interactions among the participants.

The final session, animated by Fr. Arokia Doss SDB, focused on the three pillars of the Preventive System – Reason, Religion and Loving-Kindness. Practical insights were also shared on maintaining a happy, stress-free life and becoming effective Salesian educators.

Fr. Victor SDB, Rector of Polur Technical Institute, proposed the vote of thanks. The seminar concluded with fellowship over lunch. The community of St. Joseph’s Boys Home was gratefully acknowledged for its generous hospitality.
